Members of the Crimson Horde in the Realm of Meridian 59, stood for Honor and Justice, wiping out Server 102 of PKers for over three years, and some still do as I'm writing this(that actually log on anyways). Members have been playing for 2+ years, as well as being in several guildwars. You may remember some of them in guilds such as Army of Light, but also Shadows of the Flame, and Albion. Due to the price increase a few years back, Kana going nuts terming people on various servers, as well as the Horde controlling what's left of Meridian, our home server is left to waste aside from us and a few stragglers. Hardly anyone logs on anymore, and those that do only do to read mail or occasionally harass others. And as of August 31, 2000, Meridian will be no more.
In the realm of Asheron's Call, the Horde took on a evil role, one that had no mercy for anyone that got in our way. We had our allies, but those that opposed us, have all died. In beta, just about everyone felt out Wrath from our magic, no single person could stand up to Shono, Slanesh, Ruiner(Malacath Vile), Tiririca, and Riot, we even had 20 corpses in one spot at one point in under 2 minutes. In Commercial, it was wide open, yet again, Magic still being supreme thanks to the overly large range of Harm/Drain, but also affecting through walls, which made it really easy to gang bang someone, like in Beta. However, after a few twinks, Life magic offense spells were reduced to only being effective against other monsters, or possibly as a first hit if the other person chose to Melee. This in turn with that change, as well as War magic being dubiously slow, made mages ineffective without the aid of what I call the Archer. After these Life Magic "twinks", all Archers were the best players. Those combined with Item magic, were deadly, add Life Magic to that, and you have someone that is unstoppable. Rather than redo a character for the third time, I decided to call it quits for now, still never been killed, until I have more drive to play at the bottom of the food chain. However, if they ever fix the allegiance chat, or make a group send, my boys will be back in full force.
In the Realm of EverQuest, where most of the Horde still remains, even with a few members going to other lands, the game still seems the most promising if you're not looking for Player-Vs-Player combat. Grouping with others is very fun, as well as upgrading your equipment to take on tougher things. More importantly, some of the quests keep you entertained. However, unless you are a Druid, Shaman, or Necro/Magician, have fun soloing, you just cannot do it well at all after Level 25. This is where the Horde currently spends it's most time, on the Cazic-Thule server, there are a few playing on Karana, and one or two on E'ci, but aside from that, they are all there, a few are simply not coming back to this game, which is fine, just don't forget to keep ICQ up :)
In the Realm of Diablo II, we participated in the Second Phase of closed beta, where we got to play part of Act 1 as the Barbarian Class. It was a fun time and we got to learn the basics, however, most of the horde played on their own. In commercial, until recently, we have pretty much kept to ourselves, however, now we are starting to expand, starting to recruit, and starting to make alliances. You can find us on the USWest server.
Where will the Horde travel to next? The Horde plans to head to Dark Age of Camelot, which is expected to be released sometime next year. We are working towards getting into the Beta, so that way we can check if it fits our forte, but from what I am being told, it should be fun.
We are also considering at this time, Anarchy Online, which should be expected to start Beta in a few months.
